How it works
Couchdrop allows you to securely receive Paylocity data like employee files and payroll data via SFTP to any platform that Couchdrop supports by using the Paylocity connector.
Since Couchdrop integrates with over 30 storage platforms, this means that you can send Paylocity files directly to any storage via SFTP, without Couchdrop storing the files at any point. This leaves you in control of your data at all points.
But Couchdrop can do more than simply receive the data. By using Couchdrop automations, you can automate file processing workflows like copying, renaming, and routing files without having to write code. This routing can be to cloud storage, external parties like partner SFTP servers, or pushing the data to your own internal systems for ingestion, meaning you can automate full workflows involving Paylocity files.

Getting started
- Create/choose a Couchdrop SFTP user and choose a root folder. You can use a folder in any connected storage as the root to have exports land directly in that directory.
- Configure the data to export in Paylocity. You can enable SFTP exports for some reports by adding an SFTP integration, then using the credentials from Step 1 for the SFTP details.
- Schedule the export to have the files regularly sent to the connected Couchdrop directory.
