Integrate S&P Global Xpressfeed with Couchdrop

How it works

Xpressfeed workflows are commonly scheduled, bulk-oriented, and entitlement-controlled. Couchdrop can provide the file transfer layer around that workflow, giving teams a cloud SFTP endpoint that maps directly to storage and systems.

If you still have legacy EDX file delivery workflows in place using FTP, Couchdrop also supports FTP and FTPS transfers.

As Couchdrop integrates with over 50 platforms, including both cloud and on-prem systems, you can securely transfer Xpressfeed files into any platform or system that Couchdrop supports without Couchdrop taking custody of the files at any point.

Capabilities

  • Receive Xpressfeed packages via SFTP or
  • Receive files from legacy EDX file delivery workflows via FTP/S
  • Store original zipped packages in S3, SharePoint, Google Drive, or Azure Blob
  • Use automations for decompressing zipped packages as well as naming, foldering, retention, and routing

Getting started

Couchdrop can connect with S&P Global Xpressfeed once the relevant file delivery or collection methods have been enabled.

  1. Create a Couchdrop endpoint and connect it to the cloud folder or bucket that will hold Xpressfeed deliveries.
  2. Configure the Xpressfeed delivery process or downloader to send files to or collect files through the Couchdrop SFTP/FTP endpoint.
  3. Build automations for decompression, routing, archival, and other file processing actions.
