Couchdrop adds new direct brain integration

Christchurch, New Zealand - In its efforts to be the simplest way to transfer data, Couchdrop has leapfrogged storage platforms entirely with its latest integration: the human brain.  

Known in platform as the Memoria connector, this new integration revolutionizes the way that users transfer files by integrating directly with the brain’s memory center, making securely sending and receiving data from partners simple, secure, and intuitive.

Michael Lawson, CEO of Couchdrop, explained how it works:

“With the Memoria connector, your memories are decoded into easily parseable JSON files, allowing you to effortlessly exchange data from your brain directly with platforms like SharePoint”.

Like other platform integrations, the Memoria connector is fully compatible with file transfer methods like Shared Links and Upload Portals, as well as automations, all of which are managed in the modern and intuitive web interface.

And it integrates with the new Transfer Shield features as well. This allows files to be scanned, filtered, and scrubbed in transit. “People often ask me which viral kids' songs get stuck in my head,” says Dallen Clark, Head of Content at Couchdrop, “The answer is none, because I’ve configured Transfer Shield to literally flag children’s song lyrics and stop them from entering my brain.”

But the new integration does come with some limitations. Currently, Memoria is a wired-only connection, and requires at least one unclogged USB-N (Nostril) connection. As the name suggests, it can also exclusively access the “Memories” folder of the Hippocampus. Outbound connections will always transfer a copy of the memory and retain the original to avoid accidental system malfunction.

When asked what about future plans for the integration, Lawson had this to say: “We plan to eventually expand capabilities to the skills and abilities sectors, but we’ll wait for AI to fail at this first and learn from their mistakes.”

Couchdrop’s Memoria connector is now available on request for Enterprise clients that meet minimum system requirements.
