Integrate NetSuite ERP with Couchdrop

How it works

The NetSuite ERP Connector is a native NetSuite integration that allows you to integrate NetSuite APIs and use NetSuite Records as part of automated workflows. This means that when a specific action happens in NetSuite, it can be used to perform actions in Couchdrop and vice versa.

As Couchdrop can integrate with over 70 cloud platforms and systems, this means you can run multistep flows that span across platforms. Run flows to move NetSuite data into SharePoint, push data into analytics platforms, and trigger events in NetSuite based on events in other platforms. With the NetSuite connector, cross-system multi-step data flows can be completely automated without any manual actions.

Couchdrop can also connect to NetSuite using the standard SFTP connector, which enables you to transfer File Cabinet data into Couchdrop via SFTP. This lets you move files like order data, accounting files, customer information, and HR data between NetSuite and other platforms with ease.

Capabilities

  • Directly integrate with NetSuite APIs
  • Run cross-platform workflows with NetSuite data
  • Send files from FileCabinet to Couchdrop via SFTP
  • Export files via email to a Couchdrop Mailbox
  • Send data via webhook from NetSuite to Couchdrop
  • Transform NetSuite data into files
  • Route files to cloud storage, external parties, or internal systems
  • Use Couchdrop automations to send/receive, process, and transform files

Getting started

Using the NetSuite ERP Connector

The native NetSuite connector is only used as part of automated workflows.

  1. Create an application in NetSuite in the Integrations menu. This application enables the connection between Couchdrop and NetSuite APIs.

  2. Add a new platform integration in Couchdrop and select NetSuite Integration. Use the application details to complete the connection.
  3. Select the NetSuite Record types to include in the integration.
  4. Create a workflow and use the NetSuite connection as part of automations.

Sending NetSuite data as files

NetSuite can also export files via FTP, SFTP, webhook, and email, and Couchdrop supports receiving data with all of these methods.

Sending files from NetSuite via SFTP

  1. Choose/create an SFTP user in Couchdrop. This user will be used with NetSuite for the SFTP connection, and files will land in the connected directory.
  2. In NetSuite, set up an SFTP Connection using the N/sftp SuiteScript module. Use the user details you set up as the SFTP endpoint.
  3. Choose the file(s) to export via SFTP. These are the files that will be sent to Couchdrop.
  4. Run the export or set the schedule to send the files to Couchdrop via SFTP

Sending NetSuite files via email

  1. Create a mailbox in Couchdrop and choose a directory for files to be sent to.
  2. Choose the files/data you want to send and set up the export.
  3. Export the files using the N/email SuiteScript module and send the files as an email attachment.

Sending NetSuite files via Webhook

  1. Create/set up an Inbound Webhook in Couchdrop and copy the URI.
  2. In NetSuite, select the files that you want to send to Couchdrop and choose a file format.
  3. Use the N/https.post SuiteScript module and enter the Couchdrop URI as the url value.
  4. Run or schedule the script to post the data to Couchdrop.
