We've expanded Couchdrop's integrations so you can submit files to a Make.com or Zapier pipeline to give you greater functionality for automation workflows. Like other integrations, these are simple to find and connect directly in Couchdrop, and you can find them when choosing to add a new integration.

Zapier and Make.com webooks

Both the Make.com and Zapier integrations work by connecting to webhooks in these platforms. This means you can use Couchdrop to initiate more complex workflows or data transformation using Make.com or Zapier. You can also combine these with Couchdrop automations.

For example, you could start by receiving a file from a vendor. Once the file is received,  Couchdrop could rename the file and move it into the Zapier/Make.com folder, which would then trigger the external workflow with all the capabilities of Make.com or Zapier.

Expanded workflow capabilities

With the new integrations, webhooks are more versatile and can help you connect multiple pipelines in a single workflow. Files can be submitted to Zapier or Make.com with the connectors, but files can also be brought into Couchdrop for additional processing with configurations on those platforms.

To do this, simply use your Couchdrop connection details to add Couchdrop as an SFTP connection in a workflow that includes an SFTP action. This action can then be used to trigger workflows you've configured in Couchdrop.

For example, the end of a Zapier/Make.com automation could be to upload a file via SFTP. Couchdrop could then monitor that folder, see that the file is uploaded, encrypt it, and transfer it to a partner or vendor.

Setting up the integrations

Configuring the new integrations in Couchdrop only takes a few clicks. When choosing to add a connection, choose either Zapier or Make.com, then name your integration and Couchdrop folder. The Couchdrop folder is how the integration will appear in the Couchdrop virtual file system, and where you can upload files so they are submitted into the Make/Zapier workflow.

Expand workflows with Zapier and Make.com

The new integrations allow you to expand workflow capabilities even further and automate more processes across your systems. If you're using Zapier or Make.com, try the new connectors in Couchdrop to enhance your secure file transfer workflows.
