Integrate Boomi with Couchdrop

How it works

Couchdrop connects to Boomi as an outbound iPaaS connection, allowing files received through Couchdrop to be delivered automatically into a Boomi process.

In Couchdrop, a folder is linked to a Boomi webhook endpoint. When a file is uploaded into that folder, Couchdrop securely sends the file to Boomi, where it can trigger a deployed process for downstream integration, routing, transformation, or application workflow automation.

This lets Boomi users receive files over SFTP, FTP, and other managed file transfer protocols through Couchdrop, then pass those files into Boomi for internal processing.

Capabilities

  • Use Couchdrop as a secure file transfer gateway for Boomi
  • Receive files through SFTP, FTP, and other transfer methods
  • Connect a Couchdrop folder to a Boomi webhook endpoint
  • Trigger deployed Boomi workflows when files arrive
  • Use Boomi as a destination in Couchdrop file automation workflows

Getting started

  1. Create and deploy a Boomi process with a Web Services Server connector.
  2. Copy the Environment API URL, endpoint, username, and token from your Boomi environment.
  3. In Couchdrop, add a new outbound connection and select Boomi.
  4. Enter a name for the integration and choose the Couchdrop folder that will send files to Boomi.
  5. Add the Boomi Environment API URL, endpoint, username, and token.
  6. Save the configuration.
  7. Upload a file into the linked Couchdrop folder to confirm it is sent automatically to your Boomi process.

Note: Boomi enforces a 5 MB maximum incoming file size limit for this integration.
