Route Adobe Analytics feeds and import files through Couchdrop

Use Couchdrop to receive Adobe Analytics Data Feed and Data Warehouse files over SFTP, or stage offline and historical data files for Adobe Analytics import workflows.

Type

Platform

Integrate Adobe Analytics with Couchdrop

How it works

Adobe Analytics can deliver certain export files through FTP or SFTP, and FTP-based Data Sources can be used to import offline or historical data. Couchdrop can act as the transfer location for these files while connecting the workflow to the rest of the data stack.

For example, Analytics Data Feed files can land in Couchdrop and be pushed into S3, Azure Blob, Google Cloud Storage, Snowflake, or BigQuery ingestion folders. Offline sales or customer data files can also be staged in Couchdrop before being picked up for Adobe Analytics import workflows.

Capabilities

  • Receive Adobe Analytics Data Feed and Data Warehouse files over SFTP
  • Stage offline or historical data files for Adobe Analytics FTP-based import workflows
  • Route clickstream, reporting, classification, and analytics files into SharePoint, S3, Azure Blob, Snowflake, BigQuery, or BI systems
  • Archive Adobe Analytics exports automatically for governance and reconciliation
  • Use automations to organize files by report suite, date, brand, region, or destination

Getting started

  1. Create a Couchdrop SFTP or FTP user for the Adobe Analytics file workflow.
  2. Choose the destination folder, such as S3 for data lake storage, SharePoint for business users, or Snowflake and BigQuery ingestion folders for analytics.
  3. Configure the Adobe Analytics export or import workflow with the Couchdrop endpoint details.
  4. Set the file delivery schedule, naming convention, and transfer path in Adobe Analytics.
  5. Use Couchdrop automations to route, archive, copy, or prepare files for downstream processing.
