Integrate Adobe Workfront Fusion with Couchdrop

How it works

Workfront Fusion scenarios can use SFTP and FTP modules to watch folders, upload files, update existing files, or remove files as part of a larger automation. Couchdrop can act as the endpoint these modules interact with, while also connecting the files to storage, collaboration, analytics, and partner destinations.

For example, Fusion can watch a Couchdrop folder for incoming vendor files, trigger an approval or processing workflow, then send the file onward to SharePoint, S3, Azure Blob, Box, Google Drive, or another external SFTP destination.

Capabilities

  • Provide SFTP and FTP endpoints for Adobe Workfront Fusion modules
  • Trigger Fusion scenarios when files arrive in Couchdrop folders
  • Upload, move, update, and route files between Fusion, storage platforms, partners, and business apps
  • Use Couchdrop as a handoff point between Adobe workflows and systems such as SharePoint, S3, Azure Blob, Google Drive, Box, Snowflake, and ERP platforms
  • Combine Couchdrop automations with Fusion scenarios for file routing, notification, approval, and downstream processing

Getting started

  1. Create a Couchdrop SFTP or FTP user for the Workfront Fusion scenario.
  2. Choose the connected folder that Fusion should monitor, upload to, or retrieve files from.
  3. In Workfront Fusion, add the FTP or SFTP module required for the scenario.
  4. Enter the Couchdrop endpoint, path, and authentication details.
  5. Build the Fusion scenario and use Couchdrop automations for routing, archiving, copying, or delivering files after transfer.
