Integrate CoreDial with Couchdrop

How it works

CoreDial can transfer call recordings to an external SFTP location. Couchdrop supplies that endpoint and maps the incoming recording path to the storage folder, customer directory, or archive location needed by the service provider or end customer.

For contact center recording transfer workflows that use external file storage, Couchdrop can provide the protocol bridge into the destination storage environment.

After delivery, Couchdrop automations can handle retention copies, customer folder separation, routing, and downstream delivery without manual file movement.

Capabilities

  • Receive standard CoreDial call recording transfers via SFTP
  • Support contact center recording transfer workflows that use FTP-style external storage where applicable
  • Write recordings through to SharePoint, Google Drive, Amazon S3, Azure Blob, customer folders, QA systems, or compliance archives
  • Use Couchdrop automations to archive, copy, sort, or forward recordings
  • Use CoreDial API documentation for related developer workflows

Getting started

  1. Create a Couchdrop SFTP user for the CoreDial recording transfer workflow.
  2. Map the endpoint to the storage folder that should receive recordings for the account, reseller, or customer.
  3. In CoreDial, configure call recording file transfer with the Couchdrop SFTP host, path, username, and authentication details.
  4. Run a test transfer and confirm the recording is written through to the target storage.
  5. Add automations to archive, copy, sort, or forward files to downstream systems.
