Integrate Five9 with Couchdrop

How it works

Five9 can upload call recordings to an external destination using standard file-transfer protocols. Couchdrop supplies the managed FTP, SFTP, or FTPS endpoint and maps it to the storage location selected by the customer.

This gives contact center teams an off-platform recording path into the archive, analytics folder, compliance location, or customer directory they already use.

Couchdrop automations can organize, copy, retain, or forward files after each recording upload.

Capabilities

  • Receive Five9 advanced recording uploads via FTP, SFTP, or FTPS
  • Write recordings through to SharePoint, Google Drive, Amazon S3, Azure Blob, customer folders, or analytics paths
  • Use Couchdrop automations to rename, organize, copy, retain, or forward files after upload
  • Support retention, QA, compliance, and downstream processing workflows
  • Use Five9 developer APIs for adjacent application workflows where needed

Getting started

  1. Create a Couchdrop FTP or SFTP user for the Five9 recording upload workflow.
  2. Map the endpoint to the storage folder that should receive Five9 recording files.
  3. In Five9, configure the Advanced Recording Upload destination with the Couchdrop protocol, host, path, and credentials.
  4. Send a test upload and confirm the recording is written through to the target storage.
  5. Enable Couchdrop automations for retention, QA routing, analytics delivery, or customer folder separation.
