Integrate IFS Cloud with Couchdrop

How it works

IFS Cloud can send files to and receive files from an external SFTP server through its SFTP transport connector. Couchdrop can act as that server while also connecting each file flow to the right source or destination.

For example, IFS can send service or operational exports to Couchdrop, where they are copied into SharePoint for business users and archived in Azure Blob or S3. Files from suppliers, finance systems, or data platforms can also be staged in Couchdrop for IFS to collect through SFTP.

Capabilities

  • Provide SFTP endpoints for IFS Cloud send and receive workflows
  • Move service, asset, supplier, finance, reporting, and operational files between IFS and other systems
  • Route IFS files to SharePoint, S3, Azure Files, Azure Blob, Google Cloud Storage, Snowflake, or partner folders
  • Stage files from external systems so IFS can retrieve them through SFTP
  • Use Couchdrop automations to copy, rename, archive, and deliver files after transfer

Getting started

  1. Create a Couchdrop SFTP user for the IFS Cloud workflow.
  2. Choose the connected folder that IFS will send files to or collect files from, such as SharePoint, S3, Azure Files, or Azure Blob.
  3. Configure the IFS Cloud SFTP transport connector with the Couchdrop host, path, and credentials.
  4. Define whether the workflow sends files from IFS, receives files into IFS, or supports both directions.
  5. Use Couchdrop automations to route files to business users, storage platforms, analytics systems, or external partners.
