Integrate SysAid with Couchdrop

How it works

SysAid workflows can use SFTP, FTP, or FTPS connectors to exchange files with external locations. Couchdrop can act as that location and connect the workflow to the destination that makes sense for the business process.

For example, a SysAid export can be delivered through Couchdrop into SharePoint for a support operations team, S3 for retention, or Snowflake for reporting. Files from HR, finance, vendors, or customer environments can also be collected in Couchdrop and made available to SysAid workflows.

Capabilities

  • Provide SFTP, FTP, or FTPS endpoints for SysAid connector workflows
  • Move ticket, asset, user, report, and vendor files between SysAid and other platforms
  • Send SysAid files to SharePoint, S3, Azure Blob, Google Drive, Box, Snowflake, or partner folders
  • Receive files from HR, ERP, customer, vendor, or internal systems for SysAid workflows
  • Apply Couchdrop automations for routing, archiving, renaming, and downstream delivery

Getting started

  1. Create a Couchdrop SFTP, FTP, or FTPS user for the SysAid workflow.
  2. Choose the connected folder that SysAid should read from or write to, such as SharePoint, S3, Azure Blob, or a partner directory.
  3. Configure the SysAid SFTP or FTP/FTPS connector using the Couchdrop endpoint details.
  4. Build the SysAid workflow mappings, schedule, and file actions.
  5. Use Couchdrop automations to send transferred files to their final destinations or retain archive copies.
