Integrate HaloITSM / HaloPSA with Couchdrop

How it works

Halo can connect to an SFTP location to collect CSV files for import. Couchdrop can act as that SFTP location while also connecting the source side of the workflow to other systems. Files might arrive from a supplier via SFTP, from a shared SharePoint folder, from an ERP export, or from an internal team using an upload portal.

Once files are in Couchdrop, automations can prepare them for Halo by moving them into the correct folder, applying consistent names, retaining archive copies, and sending duplicates to other destinations that need the same data.

Capabilities

  • Provide an SFTP endpoint for HaloITSM and HaloPSA CSV import jobs
  • Stage supplier, customer, asset, product, contract, and service data files for Halo imports
  • Receive files through SFTP, FTP, upload portals, mailboxes, or connected storage folders
  • Keep copies in SharePoint, S3, Azure Files, Google Drive, Box, or other connected platforms
  • Use Couchdrop automations to rename, archive, route, and prepare import files before Halo collects them

Getting started

  1. Create a Couchdrop SFTP user for the Halo import workflow.
  2. Choose or connect the folder where import files will be staged, such as SharePoint, S3, Azure Files, Google Drive, or a supplier-specific SFTP folder.
  3. Configure the Halo SFTP CSV imports integration with the Couchdrop endpoint, path, and credentials.
  4. Set up the source process that places CSV files into Couchdrop.
  5. Use Couchdrop automations to prepare the files, archive copies, and route related files to other systems.
