Route Webex Connect recordings from SFTP to storage or archive
Use Couchdrop as the SFTP bridge from Webex Connect voice recording backups into customer storage, archive, or analytics workflows.

Integrate Webex Connect with Couchdrop
How it works
Webex Connect can deliver voice recording backups to an external SFTP destination. Couchdrop supplies that destination and maps it to the storage, archive, or analytics path required by the customer.
This gives CPaaS voice workflows a secure transfer path from Webex Connect into the systems that hold or process recordings.
Webex Connect Voice APIs, outbound webhooks, and backup notification URLs can support application workflows around the SFTP file delivery path.
Capabilities
- Receive Webex Connect voice recording backups through SFTP
- Write recordings through to SharePoint, Google Drive, Amazon S3, Azure Blob, compliance archives, customer folders, or analytics destinations
- Use Couchdrop automations for routing, retention, and downstream delivery
- Use Voice APIs for adjacent voice application workflows
- Use outbound webhooks and backup notification URLs for event-driven workflow automation
Getting started
- Create a Couchdrop SFTP user and map it to the destination folder for Webex Connect recordings.
- In Webex Connect, open the voice recording backup settings and choose SFTP.
- Enter the Couchdrop host, port, path, username, and private-key or password details.
- Configure backup frequency and notification settings if required.
- Run a test backup and add Couchdrop automations for routing, retention, and delivery.
