New automation actions and File Action trigger

We've expanded automations with new actions to accommodate a wider range of workflows and added a new trigger to activate File Actions.

New trigger on folder creation

The new Mkdir trigger is activated whenever a new folder is created in the target directory. This trigger will activate both for the target directory and if a folder is created within any subfolders.

More automation actions

Automations now have new actions that can be used in both scheduled transfers and File Actions.

  • Create a group - Creates a new Couchdrop group. This action supports automation variables like timestamp and existing filename.

  • Set Folder Permissions - Select an existing user or group and add permissions for them on that directory. Supports setting multiple permissions, including upload, download, managing permissions, and more.

For a full list of triggers and actions, see our File Actions documentation.

The new automation trigger and actions are available to all users now. To try them out for yourself you can log in to Couchdrop now
